first settled in Milton, MA and after remaining there a short time he returned to Milford, Conn. Around 1667 he moved to Dedham, MA where among other occupations he kept sheep. In 1668 he settled in Roxbury and joined the First Religious Society (Unitarian).

After residing in Roxbury for five years he met an untimely death. Having a sharp knife in his pocket, he fell while climbing a stone wall and from the knife sustained a wound from which he died almost immediately.320
