He and his wife Thomasine (Tomosin) came to Newbury, MA in 1635. Although he is not mentioned in the list in Coffin’s History of Newbury. He moved to Haverhill, MA in 1645. He was on the first board of selectmen chosen in Haverhill in 1646. And in 1647 he was chosen by the town and approved by the General Court to “try small cases.”In 1649 he was made the first constable in Haverhill.2012

He returned to Newbury in 1652. Moved to Salem in 1657 and then returned to Newbury where he stayed until his death.2012
