Robert Harper, Ralph Allin Sr., John Allin, Thomas Greenfeild, Edward Perry, Richard Kerby Jr., Willam Allin, Thomas Vre, Willam Gifford, Mathew Allin, Daniell Wing, ffrancis Allin, & John Jenkins were fined repeatedly for not taking the oath of fidelity. Citizenship was taken away from them by Governor Thomas Prince on October 2, 1658, because they were Quakers. Several inhabitants of Sandwich, John Allen Sr. included, later proved their "just right and interest in the town privileges," recorded February 23, 1675.
