Served in the Revolutionary War.499 Enlisted as a Private. Later enlisted as Cpl. and was with Washington in Battle of Long Island, NY, Trenton and at Valley Forge serving until the close of war. Served with Gen. Stark, promotion to Cpl. 15 Dec 1779.
Entered the Continental Army at the age of sixteen, believed to have been in the Battle of Bunker Hill, was honorably discharged at the end of the war, was granted a homestead in his native town, and died there in 1835.500
