Obituary: Mr. Moses Allen, an old and respected resident of this town, died suddenly on Wednesday morning last, at the advanced age of 75 years. He was one of the first settlers of this town, has been one of our worthiest and most esteemed citizens, and his death cast a gloom over the hearts of his acquaintances. He had been in a more than usual feeble health for a few days, but on the morning of his death, thought himself better, brought in some wood for the fire, and whilst putting it in the store fell back and instantly died.1414
